The Cyril Yoga Ayurveda Centre, recognized as a leading Yoga & Ayurveda Centre in Goa India, was established in 1999 to teach the Yoga & traditional Ayurvedic medicine of India and to provide these ancient therapies. Ayurvedic healing includes herbs, nutrition, panchakarma cleansing, acupressure massage, Yoga. Cyril Yoga: About years ago his great grandfather taught students in the traditional gurukula system and that same hereditary system has been re-founded by Cyril Yogi, with the name of Cyril Yoga Ayurveda Centre in Goa, Established in 1999. The C.Y.A.C is unique in it’s style of yoga as the family tradition has been continued, whilst in corpora ting many of the different styles and practices of the various ancient schools of yoga, therefore giving a varied and complete insight into the practice of yoga. Which has been adapted to deal with the stress’s and strains of a western life, aimed at leaving the student totally relaxed and better to cope in the world we now live. Ayurveda: - the science of life has brought true health and wellness to millions of individuals throughout the ages with simple changes in daily living practices. Incorporating just a few of these proven methods into your lifestyle can bring about radical changes in your life., This ancient art of healing has been practiced continuously for over 5,000 years. The principles of many natural healing systems now familiar in the West, such as Homeopathy and Polarity Therapy, have their roots in Ayurveda. Ayurvedic practices restore the balance and harmony of the individual, resulting in self-healing, good health and longevity. Our Purpose The Cyril Yoga Ayurveda Centre that teaches the principles and practices of Yoga & Ayurveda, the ancient science of life. We provide authentic education in a supportive environment that encourages the integration of Ayurveda by individuals into their daily living and by health care professionals into their clinical practices. Educational Philosophy At The Cyril Yoga Ayurveda Centre, we use the time-honored Vedic approach to education, teaching from an oral tradition based on personal growth through spirituality. The teacher shares knowledge and experiences that help the student learn the theory and practices of Ayurveda. Each student learns Ayurvedic principles and practices that, when integrated into their lifestyle, bring peace and balance to the body, mind and soul. We provide an environment in which the student can find the freedom to learn and make choices that promote self healing. Goals The integration of Yoga & Ayurveda with modern medicine, other healing disciplines, and the individual Self to bring about total health, awareness, and harmony. It is the dream of Vasant Lad and the goal of the Cyril Yoga Ayurveda Centre to be able to offer a complete program of Yoga & Ayurveda study. This program would be similar in content to that taught in the traditional Ayurvedic colleges in India. |
